Your data, your control
With Re:Ember you can delete your account and all associated data at any time – directly in the app or, if you no longer have the app installed, by email request.
Delete in the app (recommended)
Open Re:Ember → Settings → “Delete all data and start over” and confirm. This removes all your data on the server (see below) and deletes the local data from your device. Deletion happens immediately.
Delete without the app (by email)
If you have already uninstalled Re:Ember, send an email to support@re-ember.de with the subject “Data deletion”. We will delete all data associated with you within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email.
What data is deleted
- Gift Spaces you created and all Embers and contributions they contain
- Your memberships in shared Spaces
- Your anonymous device/user identifier
- Active web-access sessions
What is not affected
Re:Ember accounts are not linked to an email address or password – we do not store any login names.
Purchases (Re:Ember Pro, Gift Space packages) are handled through Google Play or the App Store; you manage that purchase history there.
Timeframe
In the app, deletion happens immediately. For an email request, we complete the deletion in full within 30 days.
